Special Volunteers

The Library would like to extend its welcome and appreciation to our volunteers.  We have 2 lovely ladies that come in weekly and help process new books.  They are Catherine Lyon of Pembroke and Marie Perkins of Hopkinsville.  These ladies donate 4 or more hours a week helping to get the new books on the shelves so that you, our patrons, can read them.

A 3rd volunteer, Frankie Durbin, is kind enough to read stories at the Friday Preschool storyhour.  Frankie has several children and even more grandchildren.  She enjoys helping us and seems to look forward to her weekly visits.

Lastly are our 2 Patron-to-Patron volunteers.  Jean Bick and Jerry Brockman deliver books to our homebound patrons.  They have been long time patrons themselves and enjoy delivering books to patrons who have difficulty getting to the library.

If you see these unselfish people tell them hello and that they are deeply appreciated.
