A world of knowledge, entertainment, and resources—all for free.
Libraries provide incredible value to their communities, offering free access to books, movies, programs, and more. If you were to rent a movie or buy a book from a retail store, you’d be spending money—at the library, it’s all available to you for free!
Support your library and make a lasting impact! HCCPL gladly welcomes financial contributions and offers several ways to give.
Donating Books, DVDs, & CDs
We appreciate donations! Here’s what we love to receive:
What we do NOT accept:
If we can add your donated items to our collection, we will. If not, we’ll find them a new home with local organizations, or we’ll include them in our annual or ongoing book sale—where all proceeds directly support the library.
All donations should be brought to the front desk of the library. Donations should not be placed in the book drop.
For more information about donating toward programs, furniture, or library materials, contact the Library Director at 270-887-4262 or director@hccpl.org. Your contributions are a wonderful way to celebrate special occasions or honor loved ones.
